RKC Instruments, a manufacturer of temperature and process controllers, sensors and auxiliary equipment, recently purchased the Syscon-RKC division of Syscon International. RKC states that the purchase will provide better direct service to meet customer demands. RKC is represented in Canada by Carlo Gavazzi (Canada) Inc.

Teknor Apex Vinyl Division (Pawtucket, RI) has opened an office in Canada and hired Frank D. Persaud as its Canadian sales representative. The division has doubled its sales in Canada in the last three years, says Jack R. Loiselle, Vinyl Division director of sales, and anticipates more growth, particularly in wire and cable and automotive applications.
