RKC Instrument (South Bend, IN), a manufacturer of temperature and process control instrumentation, recently signed distribution agreements with several new distributors to represent their product line in Canada. The new distributors are Acetronic Industrial Control (Mississauga, ON), Chevrier Instruments (Montreal, QC), Industrial Systech (Brampton, ON), Process Instruments and Components (Markham, ON) and West Heat (Winnipeg, ON).
Injection molding machine supplier Battenfeld of America is moving its headquarters to the Chicago area from Rhode Island as part of a strategy to build its market. The move is related to Battenfeld’s commitment to customer service since the centralized location in a major transportation hub will permit the company to respond more quickly to customers.
