Catia reseller L&H Consultants (Montreal, QC) is back in the hands of its original owners and has been renamed Mecanica Solutions. The company serves the automotive, aerospace and consumer goods industries with customers such as Bombardier, Honda, Hyundai and Ferrari F1.

Stanmech Technologies Inc. has moved to a larger facility at 944 Zelco Dr., Burlington, ON, L7L 4Y3, 905-631-6161, fax: 905-631-1852. The new plant has expanded training facilities, a larger repair centre, and increased capability for applications engineering for plastics joining, fabricating and forming solutions.

Blow molding machine builder Falcone Technical Services Ltd. is expanding the size of its operation by 50 percent. According to president Frank Falcone, the expansion will allow the company to increase the size and capacity of its in-house machine shop and carry more spare parts and inventory. The extra space will also enable the company to increase the size of its testing centre, where customers can send personnel to get familiar with the operation of equipment.

Speciality chemical distributor Stochem Inc. will represent and distribute Dianal solid acrylic resins in Manitoba and all provinces east of that point. The resins are used as a modifier for thermoset resins.

C.M.H. Concentrates has acquired the assets of Les Produits Jalisson of St. Bruno, QC. C.M.H. Concentrates has moved its manufacturing facilities from Longueuil, QC to St. Bruno.

Accuplast Solutions (Kirkland, Quebec) is now the Canadian representative for single and twin-screw extruders and associated products from Extrusion Tek Milacron (Batavia, Ohio). “This represents a big step towards our goal of becoming the unified source for plastics equipment in Canada,” says Accuplast president John Bradley Lalonde. In addition, Accuplast has moved into a new larger location at 3608 St. Charles, Suite 24, Kirkland, Quebec, H9H 3C3. The company’s new telephone number is 866-630-0808. Accuplast also represents downstream equipment manufacturer Bolton Industries (Bolton, Ontario).

Hunkar Laboratories Inc. (Cincinnati, OH) has acquired EVItrak Technologies Inc., a provider of data acquisition hardware, software and supplies. EVItrak will be managed by Hunkar’s bar code/data collection division, TriData Technologies. Products and services provided by these two units will be integrated with Hunkar’s “Smart Manufacturing” products to provide one-stop solutions from automated manufacturing and warehouse management analysis and control.
