Husky Injection Molding Systems has introduced a 1000-tonne model based on its Hylectric machine design that has exceptional speed and tiebar spacing for its tonnage range.
With tiebar spacing of 1550 mm x 1320 mm, Husky says the Hylectric 1000 has the largest standard spacing in the industry. The hydromechancial clamp has a dry cycle time of 4.1 seconds at full stroke of 1300 mm. A highly modular design allows the machine to be customized for various market applications.
The machine incorporates an electric screw drive to further optimize energy efficiency for applications requiring simultaneous plasticizing and clamp movements. It also features Husky’s new Polaris PC-based controls. They are highly flexible and facilitate integration and networking. The Windows-based interface is designed to simplify operation and set-up.
