“The GE line of Signature OQ resins, with its rainbow array of pure colors, as well as fluorescent edge glow and diamond-like flake visual effects, can help entertainment companies own a place in the consumer’s mind,” says Cathering Hess, GE market development manager.
The Signature OQ family are Lexan optical quality polycarbonate resins for use in CDs or DVDs.
Effects available in the Signature OQ resins are: illuminate effect (creates a brilliant edge glow effect) and diamond effect (glass-like particles in a translucent base create a shimmering, jewel effect for DVD 5 and DVD 9 formats).
