Helios Systems, Inc. (Mississauga, Ont.), a longtime distributor of Matra Datavision’s CATIA family of CAD/CAM/CAE engineering software packages, has become a formal business subsidiary of the international software developer and supplier. Matra acquires Helios’ client base and employees. All employees from Helios have been retained by Matra Datavision. Brian McGregor, president of Helios Systems, becomes vice president of Matra Datavision’s operations in Canada.
