Federal Plastics has recently embarked on an expansion program which will increase the company’s capacity by 80%. Federal is installing additional extrusion and co-extrusion equipment to better serve thin gauge, roll fed vacuum formers with high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), polyethylene (PE), and polypropylene (PP) sheet.

“What sets us apart is the sheer diversity of the products we offer, both in terms of resin selection, as well as production versatility,” says David Grunberger, vice-president, sales. “We can make sheet from 0.010 in. to 0.750 in. thick. That’s diversity.”

Based in St-Laurent, QC, Federal produces thermoplastic sheet for a multitude of industries, including thermoforming, point-of-purchase displays, screen printing and others.
