R. Moroz Ltd. has developed the new Dolphin, which merges barcode, image and signature capture technologies all in one scanning motion. While maintaining the original design, the new Dolphin has a small CMOS (complimentary metal oxide semiconductor) camera along with a barcode scanner. It is a perfect tool for automatic identification for package delivery, transportation and logistics applications.
Whether the end-user is scanning a barcode, an image or a signature, the Dolphin is able to capture and store all this regardless of the lighting environment.
Ideal for signature and non-signature authentication, such as stamps or seals as well as method of proof for quality control issues when shipping or receiving, it can capture six images per minute and can store more than 100 images.
