Robotics: EOAT for articulating robots

SAS Automation provides cost-effective EOAT for articulating robots. Five- and six-axis robots present special applications (peeling and insert molding) not available with cartesian robot movements.

These applications are unique in that the EOAT designs must allow sufficient room for the robot arm to unfold as most tools will enter the molding press from the top or side. EOATs therefore need to be less complex as the robot provides multiple, accurate motions within the cell. Many articulating robots do not come with a standard valve package, and thus, this must be added to accommodate the EOAT functions.
