Robot for Low Overhead Environments

The model AZ-500 three-axis servo robot from Automated Assemblies is designed for molders with facilities where overhead obstructions are a concern. The robot is suitable for presses from 500 to 1500 tons.

A low profile, two-stage telescoping vertical arm has dual linear bearings on the primary stage, making it very rigid and able to handle payloads up to 50 lb. The heavy-duty rack and pinion drive combined with steel-reinforced timing belts provide fast part take-out and overall cycle times.
