Yushin is offering an easier-to-use controller on the HOPIII-M450 and 550 series robots. The controller features a larger LCD display with dialog prompts in English messages instead of numerical readouts. Programming is done by assembling program blocks into sequences.
There is storage for mold-set-ups, which allows quicker mold changeover. I/O monitoring assists the operator in monitoring the communication between the controller and the robot. Counters keep track of the number of cycles, reject parts and take-out failures.
