GE Plastics has formulated two new grades of Cycoloy PC/ABS resin based on non-halogenated fire retardant systems, which expands the company’s portfolio of FR resins for applications in computers, telecommunications, business equipment and personal electronics.
Neither halogenated compounds nor heavy metals are used in the formulation of the FR Cycoloy C6600 and CU6800 grades. The new FR Cycoloy C6600 delivers optimum flow and heat balance with improved hydrolytic stability and aesthetic versatility.
The CU6800 grade offers the highest flow performance of any FR Cycoloy resin for thinwall products.
