Turnout was substantial for a North American PVC technical conference held this fall in Toronto, especially among processors. Vinyltec 99 was co-sponsored by the Vinyl Council of Canada and the Society of Plastics Engineers. The conference is held in different locations each year, and hadn’t been held in Canada since 1988.
“I’ve never seen this many processors at this type of event,” said Victor Satov of Henkel Canada, co-chair of the event. He counted 31 processors among the over two hundred attendees.
