Three new process aids for polyolefin extrusion, under the AmpFlow banner, are designed to impart improved flow properties to HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, polypropylene and metallocene resins.

Polypropylene-based AmpFlow 1198 is suitable for PP applications where sharkskin or die-build up is a problem. For metallocenes, AmpFlow 458-A aims to alleviate typical “cross-linking” that occurs with metallocene blends.

AmpFlow 467 has a low loading of active ingredients for applications that require only a “touch” of lubricant to prevent sharkskin or keep lines running smoothly when back pressure rises.
