A microprocessor control system brings unparalleled precision to RDN’s Intellicut servo cutter. The Intellicut tracks puller speed and position by electronically sliding the cutting blade to the encoder (position feedback module). Cut length tolerances are reduced to almost zero.

“It eliminates off-line trimming, reduces scrap and lowers production costs, all of which mean increased productivity for Intellicut users,” says Dave Wille, president of RDN.

The company is offering to convert clutch brake cutters to servo technology for 20 percent less than the cost of a new cutter.
