CYROLITE CG-97 compound is a transparent, impact-modified acrylic-based multipolymer specifically for injection molding medical device applications requiring maximum chemical resistance to lipids and PVC plasticizers. The material exhibits greater resistance to isopropanol than any other acrylic material and shows no property deterioration on sterilization at typical gamma irradiation levels. It does not yellow, but shifts to a permanent blue-green tint.

The compound can be sterilized with ethylene oxide gas without adverse effect, and its good processability allows for use in thin-walled parts, multi-cavity tools and other difficult-to-fill devices.
