Battenfeld Extrusionstechnik partnered with sister firm, American Maplan Corp., to develop a complete system for extruding pipe reaching 63 inches (in.) in diameter. So far, three lines have been sold in the U.S., AMC is currently designing a system that extrudes pipes with diameters reaching 78 in.
