In conjunction with the PLASTIC exhibition at the Design Exchange (Toronto), a series of discussions with manufacturers, designers and representatives of the plastic industry about the impact and potential of plastic in daily life and the environment will take place over the next few months.
On the evening of a lecture, the PLASTIC exhibition will stay open late and admission is included in the price of the lecture ticket. Tickets are $10, $8 for students, and $5 for DX members.
On Wednesday, January 26, Cathy Cirko will discuss Plastics for Sustainability. Cirko is director general of the Environment and Plastics Industry Council, a Council of CPIA.
The PLASTIC – Chemistry, Commerce and Culture in Canada since 1945 exhibition continues until February 6, 2005, and is open 10:00 am to 6:00 pm weekdays.
