This unit is a portable, cost-effective, three-dimensional, no-training gauge for machinists. “The 0.0002 in. accuracy of the Faro Gage now provides a clear alternative to traditional CMMs, hand tools and other portable inspection equipment,” says Simon Raab, president and CEO of Faro. “Anyone, anywhere can perform inspections with previously unheard of precision.”
Using touch-screen icons, the Faro Gage was designed to be easy for machinists and shop floor personnel to use. Faro Gage has a magnetic mount, allowing it to measure parts and assemblies directly on the machine producing them.
