Richard Baril has joined M.A. Hanna Resin Distribution as account manager covering Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. Baril lives in St.-Luc, Que. and will be responsible for sales of Hanna’s complete line of thermoplastic resins and compounds from major materials suppliers in the region.
Claudio D’Ambrosio has been named the new president and CEO of Ciba Specialty Chemicals Canada Inc. (Mississauga, Ont.), replacing the retiring John Rankin. D’Ambrosio joined Ciba in 1988 as a technical sales representative for polyolefins additives, eventually moving to director of operations in 1992.
