Bolton, Ont.-based Husky Injection Molding Systems has named Keith Carlton — formerly vice president, hot runners and molds, and executive team member since 2005 — as COO. Carlton will be in charge of the company’s tooling, machines, systems, parts and service and supply chain strategies globally. Husky also named Volker Neuber to its executive team as vice president, service and sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Lake Zurich, Ill.-based process cooling system provider Frigel North America has appointed Aziz Khoshnood as area sales manager for the territories of Canada and New England.
Mississauga, Ont.-based resin supplier PolyOne Distribution Canada, Inc. has named Phil Lem to the position of account manager.
Saint Laurent, Que.-based Plastifab Industries has announced several organizational changes. Plant manager Angelo Cianci has expanded his operational responsibilities to include process and product improvement; Johnny Lapadula has been appointed to operations manager, which includes customer service, production scheduling/planning and logistics; and Sal Sorice has been named general manager of administration, responsible for company administration and the quality department.
Injection molding machine supplier Krauss-Maffei Corporation has appointed Gerhard Griemert has as regional sales manager, responsible for Canada. Currently based in Novi, Mich., he will be relocating shortly to Southern Ontario.
Customized solutions provider Stanmech Technologies Inc., of Burlington, Ont., has named Judith Steward as customer service representative. Stanmech is the master distributor for Leister in Canada.
Blown and cast film extrusion systems manufacturer Windmoeller & Hoelscher Corporation, of Lincoln, R. I., has appointed Nick Nigro to the position of product sales manager for extrusion systems.
Dr. KarlheinzBourdon has been named managing director of the Injection Molding Machinery (IMM) division of KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH in Munich.
