Todd Shepherd has been named as president of Brampton, Ont.-based Shepherd Thermoforming and Packaging. Todd replaces Barry Shepherd. The company also appointed Chris Cook, a 23-year veteran with Magna Corporation, to the position of sales manager.
Resin supplier Clariant Masterbatches has named Kirk Jacobs to the position of business director, additives masterbatches, North America. Jacobs will be based out of the company’s Winchester, Va. headquarters.

Pittsburgh, Pa.-based resin supplier Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) has appointed Kirk Bourgeois head of the North American region of BaySystems, the company’s global network of some 20 polyurethane systems houses. Rod Herrick has been named as Bourgeois’ successor to lead BMS methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) and toluene diisocyanate (TDI) operations at the company’s Baytown, Tex. site. And Lora Rand has been appointed to lead BMS’ Newark, N.J. polycarbonate and polycarbonate blends compounding facility.
