Custom Plastics Group has appointed Sharon Yamamoto vice president of finance and administration. Yamamoto has over 15 years business development experience and is now responsible for managing all of the company’s administrative and financial aspects.

Custom Plastics Group is a designer and manufacturer of precision plastic products, including specialty formed items, housings and enclosures, and spa/hot tubs for major customers across North America. The company operates out of a 60,000 sq. ft. plant located in Langley, B.C.

Industry figure and managing director for Ferromatik Milacron, Michael Koch, has resigned from the company, effective immediately. Koch has departed the company for personal reasons, according to a press release. His position will be filled, on an interim basis, by Dr. Karlheinz Bourdon, Milacron president of global plastic machinery.

Xaloy Inc. has named Chris Weinrich twin cylinder product manager. Weinrich has more than 10 years experience in twin-screw extruder technology. Weinrich succeeds Bob Coffey, who is retiring after 29 years with Xaloy.

Hans Matthesius has been appointed president of Cincinnati Extrusion Inc. Matthesius comes to the company from Krauss-Maffei, where he served as vice-president of sales of the company’s U.S. subsidiary. Cincinnati Extrusion has once again established a North American presence with a plant in Erlanger, KY, which opened Jan 1.
