Lyle Hoegy has joined film equipment manufacturer Future Design Inc., Mississauga, ON, as vice president sales and marketing.

Dempsey Corporation, a distributor of additives, has added three new sales representatives. Eric Greason will be based in Toronto and responsible for expanding Dempsey’s presence in aluminum pigments and mica products, among others. Also in Toronto, Benjamin Dempsey will be focusing mainly on the industrial coatings, inks and cosmetics markets. Marc Gagnon will work out of Montreal and be responsible for industrial and UV coatings and composites.

Pierre Joris has joined Solvay Engineered Polymers (Auburn Hills, MI) as president. He replaces Joseph Greulich, who becomes president of Solvay Advanced Polymers LLC (Alpharetta, GA). The management transition coincides with a transfer of plastics-related assets between Solvay S.A. and BP. A portfolio of former BP-Amoco engineering resins has been acquired by Solvay Advanced Polymers.

John Melton has been appointed director of sales for Granutech- Saturn Systems Corp. (Grand Prairie, TX). Melton will cover the western provinces, western U.S. and all of Mexico. Granutech-Saturn Systems manufactures size reduction and processing equipment.
