The company provides benchmarking, process troubleshooting, capital equipment procurement, raw material selection, project management, product design, screw design, quality control, expert witness testimony and on-site training for production staff. PolyOne Distribution Canada Ltd., formerly M.A. Hanna Resin Distribution, has announced the addition of new personnel in the sales and customer service areas. Kelly Dombowsky has been given sales responsibility for Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Dombowsky has 15 years of experience in the plastics industry. Mike Carroll will assist Stanley Siu in sales coverage of Ontario. Carroll has over six years of experience in plastics sales and distribution. Also, Annabel Persadie has joined the the customer service group.

Milacron is becoming more aggressive in the Canadian market for extrusion equipment. Veteran Canadian equipment salesperson John Lalonde has joined Extrusiontek Milacron and Akron Milacron in Batavia, Ohio as sales engineer responsible for selling the company’s line of single-screw and twin-screw extruders in Canada. He will be working closely with Milacron’s Canadian representative, Hamilton Avtec, Mississauga, Ont.
