RTP Company has developed a series of specialty compounds based on a polycarbonate/acrylic alloy. The RTO 1800A Series offers greater impact strength than PC and maintains the ease of processing associated with acrylic materials. These compounds can be processed at lower temperatures than polycarbonate, decreasing the cooling and cycle time of the injection molding process.

The RTP 1800A Series also incorporates wear additives, flame retardants, EMI shielding, permanent anti-static protection and colors. The natural opaque white provides a good base with no swirling or knitlines.

The series provides good chemical resistance to alcohol and lipids, and shrinkage which enables easy mold conversion.
