Baltimore, Md.-based auxiliary equipment supplier Novatec, Inc., has made a series of recent management appointments. Former Novatec president Lawrence F. DeBaugh will now serve as company chairman. Novatec has also named Conrad Bessemer as president and CEO; Elizabeth A. Pypa as vice president, finance and operations; Timothy Noggle as vice president, sales and marketing; James A. Zinsky as vice president, applied projects; John Heinrikson as vice president, systems sales; Chuck Morgan as resin handling business director; Douglas Arndt as senior project manager, systems; Tony Crook as product manager, blenders; and Mark Haynie as product manager, dryers. Longtime Novatec executive vice president Jack Doub will retain his position.

The company has also started construction on a new 4,200 sq. ft., Drying Technology Centre, designed for testing and rating drying systems, at its Baltimore headquarters.
