LOOKING BACK…

In October 1967, Canadian Plastics investigated opportunities for plastics in radio and television sets. Don Waiman of Automatic Plastics had some telling comments to make about Canadian molders at the time: “When a potential customer begins to talk in terms of small tolerances and high degree of accuracy, many molders quickly lose interest.”

In his editorial this month (page 7), Michael LeGault suggests that molders are still shying away from this challenging market.
