A year after the launch of its Canadian operations at Plast-Ex, Chinese injection molding machinery supplier Haitian has sold its first machine in the Quebec market. The press was sold to Sagesser Plastics (St-Hyacinthe, QC). Haitian sells almost 5000 machines a year worldwide. The announcement of a Canadian office coincided with the launch of a series of machines customized for the North American market, with components and features optimized for Canadian and U.S. processors. Haitian is represented in Quebec by Lutek Equipement Plastique Inc. (Dorval, QC).
