A washing machine auger modeled on C-MOLD Gas Assisted Injection Molding software shows gas penetration as color. Red represents areas that are solid plastic, and non-red colors represent a percentage of gas penetration through the thickness -- for example, dark blue (0.8) would mean 80 percent plastic and 20 percent gas in that area.
