Fluometal is a cost-effective, self-lubricating material with all the advantages of metal plus the exceptional characteristics of PTFE. Fluometal is ideal for various applications of bushings and slide bearings, including valves, actuators, pneumatic cylinders and automotive components.

Fluometal is an expanded or perforated metal sheet inserted between two PTFE layers, offering rigidity, durability and high compression resistance. The load-resistant metal sheet provides strength and workability and the PTFE layers provide non-stick characteristics, low friction, corrosion resistance and a wide temperature range.

Fluometal sheet comes in 0.5, 0.8 and 1.0 mm thicknesses, is 300 mm wide and is available in any length.

Its normal working conditions range from -328 to 450F.
