The new VAX-II portable calibrator from Druck Inc. weighs only two lb., yet allows the operator to generate pulses and read frequency to 10,000 Hz, power, and can read and simulate digital sensors and two wire transmitters with traceability to the National Institute of Standards (NIST). The compact unit maintains accuracies to 0.05 percent or better, and features a specially designed protective case and dual display for simultaneously viewing input and output readings. Standard “C” cell battery power allows remote testing.
