Elf Atochem’s Plexiglas Granite molding and extrusion compound offers designers a high degree of flexibility in color mixes and surface finish for developing molded and extruded parts that look like natural stone.
Pellets come in five different colors. Changing the proportion of colors can dramatically change the look of the part. It is possible to get unusual effects by changing the ratio of resin pellet colors and by processing to achieve different surface textures.
Extrusion can create surfaces ranging from matte to high gloss and from smooth to rough textures. Plexiglas Granite acrylic resin parts are chemical and weather resistant, and suitable for exterior displays.
