The Nova Scotia Liquor Corp. (NSLC) has become the latest corporation to jump on the anti-plastic bags bandwagon. The crown corporation announced that it will stop offering plastic bags later this year.

The NSLC will give reusable bags away to customers who buy three or more bottles of wine this month, but the bags will cost $1.49 each, starting in May. According to the NSLC, more than 10 million plastic bags are used at liquor stores each year.
