Compact Injection Blow Molds Inc. (Brampton, Ont.) has entered an alliance with R.J. Abramo Associates Inc. (Holliston, MA) to form a new company called Abramo/Compact Injection Blow Molds Inc. Each company will continue to operate independently, but will now have greater capabilities to compete globally and provide injection blow molds and injection stretch blow molds worldwide.
StackTeck Systems Inc. (Rexdale, Ont.) has acquired cap and closure moldmaker Unique Mould Makers Ltd. (Scarborough, Ont.). Other companies within the StackTeck group include Tradesco Mold Ltd. (Toronto) and Fairway Molds (Los Angeles, CA). Unique founder and CEO, Werner Scheliga, will hand over direction of the company to Unique’s existing senior management team.
