Hot-runner systems manufacturer Mold-Masters Ltd., of Georgetown, Ont., has received the Company of the Year 2006 Award of Excellence from the Yves Landry Foundation.
The award was presented at the seventh annual Yves Landry Stars Technological Education Awards Gala, held in Toronto in October.
According to the foundation, the awards recognize those individuals and businesses that best exemplify the vision of the late Yves Landry, chairman, president and CEO of Chrysler Canada from 1990 to1998. This vision is one of forging a link between business, education and government, and promoting technological education and skills training in order to address the upcoming shortages that industry will be facing.
