TUFTEC H1043 is a PP/PS compatibilizer for the microwavable food tray market. The SEBS (styrene-ethylene/butene-styrene) modifier allows the high rigidity and processability of PS to be combined with the high temperature properties and oil resistance of PP.
TUFTEC H1043 is a high styrene content SEBS polymer produced in pellet form, with hardness of 72 Type D. PP/PS blends with Tuftec H1043 have demonstrated oil resistance, high temperature properties, rigidity, and optimal processability. It can be used for food containers and trays, as well as for automotive parts and the interiors of refrigerator doors.
