Minimum floor space for small machine

Arburg has released the Allrounder 220 S, an injection molding machine optimized for molding small parts with a very small footprint. From a technical point of view, the small S model is similar to larger S Series machines, but the plasticising screw is optimized for small parts. It has a diameter of 15 mm and L/D ratio of approximately 18:1.

The distance between tiebars is 220 mm with 150 mm mold height and 150 mm opening stroke.

To save space, control cabinets are placed under the injection unit, and the water manifold is integrated into the machine base.
