Meeting Displays IRDI’S Capabilities

The Industrial Research and Development Institute (IRDI) held its annual general meeting and exhibition on May 12th with 42 exhibitors displaying technologies in the machining, metal-forming, and plastics/composites industries. Nickel vapour deposition, mold-flow simulation, and “art-to-part” services were among the capabilities demonstrated, while the machine hall featured gas-assist molding of auto trim parts on a Battenfeld press.
