Two new grades of microcrystalline, transparent nylon suitable for medical devices are available from Creanova for injection molding applications (Trogamid CX7323) and extrusion processing (Trogamid CX9701). Both grades meet classification requirements of USP XXIII Plastic-Class VI-121.
Gamma radiation or ethylene oxide sterilization have no adverse effect on the materials. They are also alcohol and lipid resistant.
