To address the desire for medical products that do not contain latex proteins or plasticized PVC, GLS is introducing a new line of TPEs for medical applications.
Extrusion grades 223-007 and 223-008 were designed to offer PVC-like kink resistance and snap back. The injection molding grade is formulated to withstand boiling and has excellent tear strength.
Possible applications include medical and FDA tubing, baby bottle nipples and pacifiers, infant toys, seals, gaskets and fluid delivery systems.
