Three transparent, toughened styrenic block co-polymers (SBC) give packaging manufacturers another choice for high clarity, high impact resistant components.
Kraton’s D-1400P series can be used for injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming and blow molding.
Higher-flow D-1403P permits faster processing for injection molding and thin film situations. The polymer contains slip agent/wax. Kraton D-1493 is an un-waxed version.
The lower-flow D-1431P is suited for manufacturing sheet, thermoforming and extrusion processes where minimal sheet sagging and product strength are critical.
