A modified version of Eastman Chemical Co.’s Eastar copolymer is used to package and serve a hot-selling new liquor launched by HP Bulmer Ltd. in the U.K. The Sidekick pre-packaged schnapps shots have a rip-off top and come in five flavors.

The clear container is designed to sit on top of a bottle or attach to the side of a glass. Eastar copolymer was selected to mold the 30-ml container because of its clarity and impact strength, chemical resistance to alcohol and FDA approval. Eastar also contains no plasticizers or halogen-containing compounds.

Molders appreciate Eastar’s ease of processing. In addition, the material is easy to decorate with the brand logo.
