Even in larger tonnage sizes, MHI’s (Mitsubishi) MM III Series has the smallest mold clamping mechanism available. The overall length is reduced by 30 percent compared to conventional 1430 ton class machines.

The UB screw improves productivity; jet purge circuit reduces set-up and color change times; and high torque hydraulic screw motors create stable processing conditions, while a mold open/close braking circuit improves cycle times.

The machine also has a large clamping stroke for injection compression or textile molding.
