UBE Machinery has developed a 1550 ton all electric toggle-style injection molding machine with AC servo drives.

The AC servo motors contribute to smooth, precise control of injection and clamp movement. The injection unit is driven independently of the clamp unit, allowing for simultaneous operation. This optimizes the molding of large thin wall parts with considerably faster cycle times.

An injection pressure control system is employed as a standard feature, allowing stable pressure during injection, which eliminates flash, warp, and residual stress.
