A new variation of Arburg’s Multilift robots combines the functionality of its vertical and horizontal models. The Multilift HV enters the mold area using a horizontal motion, but the longitudinal and lateral axes are mounted on an overhead gantry.
The benefit of this design is that it minimizes the need for head space above the machine, and permits installation of a vertical injection unit for multi-component molding applications.
The unit has a maximum load weight of 20 kg, and is suitable for Arburg’s Allrounder 630 S, 720 S and 820 S injection machines.
