A new family of brass inserts launched by Spirol International is designed for placement in the mold prior to injection. The hexagonal molded-in insert family is suitable for use in applications where high torque and pull-out/through resistance is required or where it is preferable to place inserts prior to molding.
Series 40 is a through-hole molded-in insert while Series 44 is a blind-end molded-in insert. The inserts are designed to simplify orientation and placement onto the core pin to increase productivity and minimize scrap rates.
