Curbside collection of polyethylene film for recycling ranks as one of the most visible accomplishments of the Plastic Film Manufacturers Association of Canada (PFMAC), but the group has many other achievements to celebrate at its 25th anniversary bash next month in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON.

“We are extremely proud of the PFMAC’s achievements over the years,” says PFMAC Chair David Douse. “It has been extremely effective in protecting and enhancing the image of this industry.”

Established as a trade association in 1977, PFMAC is now a council of the Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA).

For the anniversary celebration on April 26 and 27, PFMAC has planned a reception, gala dinner, awards ceremonies and networking opportunities with past and present industry leaders. The event is an invitation-only format. Interested parties should call Charmian Entine, 905-678-7405, ex. 274.
