CYRO Industries’ ACRYLITE df light diffusing molding and extrusion compounds offer increased lighting efficiency and light management with 20 to 40 percent enhanced transmittance versus pigmented products. The ACRYLITE df compounds provide excellent light stability, superior light diffusion, optical efficiency, weatherability and high heat deflection-under-load (DTL), making them ideal for applications where light diffusion properties are critical, such as in lighting diffuser, optoelectronics, displays, monitor covers and projection screens. Because these acrylic polymers transmit light while scattering it, the result is higher intensity and output ratio or reduced energy consumption at the same light intensity compared to conventional pigment-diffusion polymers.
