Increase valve life with carbide-faced valve assemblies

The new carbide-faced injection valve from General Plastex, manufacturer of screws, barrels and machine components, decreases wear and increases valve life 50 percent or more.

Using a carbide coating, a wear resistant layer of carbide is applied to the valve’s wear surfaces between the tip and ring or the seats and ring. The carbide coating is particularly applicable to machines running abrasive compounds or utilizing glass fillers.

The valves are available in all sizes, in both three and four piece models.
